STATISTICS

Name: 'Knight' | Netsu Takeichi
Age: 19
Team: Ratatoskr

Height: 6'2"
Build: Big and broad. A heavy knight's physique with a hint of wild charm in his posture. Looks like he could handle a suit of plate with little trouble.
Hair Color/Eye Color: Brown/Blue
Notable Traits:
  • He has a scar over his right eye, though the eye seems fully functional.
  • His teeth also seem sharper than you'd expect from a human.
  • He has numerous, smaller scars over his torso - clearly battle wounds he doesn't remember yet.
  • His nose is slightly off-center - a properly healed, but formerly broken nose.
  • While he usually wears one of two scarves to cover it (unless he's in his Dorm), he has a tattoo of vines encircling his neck - recognizable by those who know Nyssa as similar to what she uses. (NOTE: As of Day 186, this tattoo has vanished, per Knight's involvement with the Corruption Hearts.)

Memory V

Memory: SigNeg - ??????????
Regained: Day 157 - Heart Games
Summary: ?????

This memory is less of an actual recollection and more of a... summation of experiences. Putting this shard seems to worm into your head no matter how hard you try to shake it off - it's less enthusiastic if you aren't Knight- but it seems to feel like it's whispering into your ear, a whisper that starts to echo in your mind.

The whispers only grow, louder and more numerous, practically trying to blot out any thoughts you have at all. Soon enough, the whispers feel like a deafening mental static - not quite screaming, but certainly feeling like it. Trying to focus for, the moment while you experience this shard, seems impossible. It feels like the shard is trying to warp and twist your thinking - though you don't notice any changes, most likely due to the incompleteness of the shard. But the whispers feel real, physical, trying to grip into your skull and find purchase.

Though, due to the fragment of the shard being incomplete, and the experience lacking context, it holds no actual sway - though it is incredibly unpleasant.

You can discern the whispers as being... female. Though you aren't sure how. Or why that would be important.

Skill #3

Skill: Knight - Martial Training
Regained: Day 154 - Cycles' Story Time

Another bundle-skill shard, this grants you BASIC COMPETENCY in combat. Akin to a soldier's basic training. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

Simple Combat/Weapon Proficiency: You know how to properly roll with - and throw punches. You know how the fundamentals of close-quarters unarmed combat work. Though the finer points of armed combat still escape you, you can also use things as makeshift weapons - mostly clubs and daggers.

Power Attack: You know how to drive a blow in hard. You're able to adjust your attacks - be they with weapons or your fist, so that you hit harder, though at the cost of some accuracy.

Toughness: You're a rugged and tough sort now, physically speaking. You have the ability to roll with punches slightly more effectively than you would have before. If you're especially experienced, then you're that much tougher.

Skill #2

Skill: Knight - Paladin Presence
Regained: Day 151 - Pokemon Game

This skill shard comes packed with two things that give you the presence and air of a Paladin from Knight's world.

The first is the Aura of Good, a (currently!) low-level aura that emits from Knight, it pings as whatever your universe's flavor of Holy/Light-type magic is. It doesn't extend outward from him, but if you have a darkness/shadow-based aura of your own and can sense it, you might find it a bit nose-crinklingly unpleasant at times. For the user of the shard, you feel full of a soft warm sunlight-like glow, and everything seems more... vibrant and colorful. Like someone cranked up the saturation level on the whole world a couple notches.

The second is Divine Grace, which lets you draw more strength and resistance from your force of personality - whether someone is trying to break your body or will, it's easier to shrug off if you can mentally bring your personality to the forefront. It means Knight is tougher, harder to jump, and not quite as easily overwhelmed on a mental level.

    Skill #1

    Skill: Knight - First Aid
    Regained: Day 140 - Nyssa's Game

The skill confers the knowledge of battlefield first aid to whoever has the shard - you know what injuries look like - you can tell a gash that's hit a major artery from one that hasn't, you know how to check for broken bones and internal bleeding. You understand how to stabilize someone who's bleeding out. You know how to set broken bones, and sterilize and use field medical supplies. You have an idea of - in a pinch - what herbs can be used to help someone, though that's not quite the focus, and you know the theory - though not exactly the practical skill behind - lower-level surgery - stitching up wounds and removing arrows from someone.

You can also use it to identify a lot of smaller things - you know when someone's poisoned and what the most common types are by the symptoms, and there are a lot of diseases you understand - though while there's the usual suspecs of Typhoid Fever and Dysentery, there's also stuff like Zombie Rot, Green Haze, and Demon Fever. You understand most of these on a basic level - not much more advanced than what it looks like in action and how to treat it.

You do, however, also know the basics of physical therapy - being able to restore damage to someone who's lost flexibility in their arms, or has suffered delusions and a minor addled mind. Though the most common use is to allow someone to work their body back up to maximum physical capacity.

    [Let's Test Driving]

[Well, you've certainly lost you way, haven't you? By one way or another, you lost your path, and only now do you find yourself back to civilization. Well, kind of.

Whereever you were, you now find yourself at a tavern. There's shelllfish decorations everywhere, hearty patrons that look like they're straight from a renassiance faire, and lobster.

Hooo boy, is there lobster, and plenty of it. In fact, there's a bunch piled up, almost buffet style, at the front counter, next to a boisterous young man in armor that almost dwarfs him, taking a bite of the steamed seafood.
    ]

Great meal as always, Lobby, though the ale's still watered down! I thought you guys were working on gettin' something with a bit more kick to it?

[Well, there's food and drink, and maybe the guy in travelling garb and armor can tell you where the hell you ended up.]
